It's Thursday and time for our Global Activism series. Each Thursday we hear about individuals who work to make the world a better place.

For the past several years, a group of faculty at DePaul Univerity have worked on an HIV/AIDS prevention and education project in Kenya. Gary Harper is a Professor of Psychology and Director of DePaul's Master of Public Health Program and Lexa Murphy is Associate Professor of Communication at DePaul.  Gary has worked in HIV/AIDS prevention for 22 years and told Jerome about his first visit to Kenya...

You can find more information on how to help DePaul University's HIV/AIDS program in Kenya on our website. We have an e-mail address for the DePaul group. While there, you can hear more stories from our Global Activism series. And you can suggest someone you think we should include in the series.
