Global Activism: Creating libraries for kids
October 14, 2010
Produced by Worldview
Each Thursday on our Global Activism series we hear about an individual who’s decided to work to make the world a better place.
In many parts of the world, libraries with children’s books can be hard to find. That's why Seena Jacob founded Bookwallah.Wallah is a loose translation for the word "peddler" in Hindi. But Bookwallah doesn’t actually sell books. They collect and distribute children’s books and set up libraries and reading areas for kids in orphanages around the world.
