Global Activism: Microfinance Banking in Haiti

Steven Werlin has spent the past 12 years working on development projects in Haiti. He is the Coordinator for Shimer College's Haiti Project. In 1996 one of his former students asked him to come to Haiti and advise him on an education project. Seven has been there ever since. He is currently a branch manager for Fonkoze, Haiti's largest microfinance bank.
