Beginning tomorrow, the "Lion of Zimbabwe" begins a three night stand at Chicago's Museum of Contemporary Art. Thomas Mapfumo is a self exiled musician and this will be his first appearance at the MCA, collaborating with dancer Nora Chipaumerie. In this week's Global Notes, Radio M host Tony Sarabia and I thought we'd shed a spotlight on Mapfumo's music.
