Andrew Whitley is Director of the Representative Office of UNRWA, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East, located in New York.  He joined UNRWA in July 2002 as its Director of External Relations, responsible for donor relations and resource mobilization, at its Gaza Headquarters.  Prior to joining the United Nations in 1995, Mr. Whitley worked as an academic in Tehran and New York; as a foreign correspondent specializing in the Middle East, South Asia and Latin America, with the BBC and Financial Times; and in human rights.  Two films were included as part of this presentation, but edited from this audio: "Two Hours in Beach Camp" and "Hoda's Story" - for more information about these films, please visit the UNRWA website.
