Few people know that Ayatollah Khomeini, the founder of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, began as a famous teacher of Islamic philosophy.

Today we talk about the longstanding attempt of Islamic philosophy to create harmony between reason and the religious teachings of Islam, and we learn about the 21st century's most influential Islamic philosophers.
