Author Kathleen Rooney and figure model Krystal Meisel take a look at the world of figure modeling.

Kathleen Rooney read from her book Live Nude Girl, a memoir detailing the six years she spent working as a figure model.

Krystal Meisel is a figure model for painting and drawing classes at the Hyde Park Art Center, as well as a photographer and teaching artist in her own right.

After the reading, Rooney and Meisel discussed their impressions of what it is like to be art.
