In this Between the Lines event, Remy Bumppo Theater invited Todd Bauer to share his insights into Old Times in a pre-show discussion of the play.

Todd Bauer has taught British and American drama at the Newberry Library for the past ten years. Last year he directed the program Pinter & Perspective, in which he explored the power dynamics in Pinter's The Birthday Party by casting both disabled and non-disabled actors. He is the visiting artist at Visible Theatre in New York, an opportunity made possible by an NEA Challenge America Grant. He is also a playwright and was a 2008 resident at the Ragdale Foundation. The Biograph Theater recently staged a reading of Bauer's play Downsizing Camus.

Recorded Wednesday, May 20, 2009 at The Greenhouse Theater.
