Kelly's pick this week is War Plays at Athenaeum Theatre.

It’s got Never Never Land. And the Lost Boys. It’s got Wendy and her brothers. It’s even got a homicidal pirate with the requisite missing hand. What it doesn’t have is Mary Martin, or Sandy Duncan. And there’s nary a jar of peanut butter to be found.

It is Lookingglass Theatre’s new "Peter Pan". And this production is supposed to contain as much darkness as light.  So should audiences fly to Lookingglass? Or did this show get the hook?

Eight Forty-Eight's dueling critics Jonathan Abarbanel and Kelly Kleiman reviewed the play.
