These are stories about HIV/AIDS that you will not see on the network news. Poets and writers read from Spaces Between Us: Poetry, Prose and Art on HIV/AIDS, a collection that shines a light on the humanism of the pandemic.

Raymond Berry, Kelly Norman Ellis, Randall Horton, Michael Hunter, Tony Medina, Chanell Ruth and Keli Stewart share poetry, stories and observations about survival, identification and, of course, love - in the face of a scourge. This reading took place at the 20th Annual Gwendolyn Brooks Conference for Black Literature and Creative Writing at Chicago State University.
