4,000 dead in Iraq, hundreds of public school children killed in Chicago.  It's time for better options.  It's time to stop the violence.  Iraq War veterans and Chicago Public School teachers come together to confront the violence Chicago's youth face on two fronts: wars overseas and wars in the streets.

Roy Walker is Associate Dean of Continuing Education at Malcolm X College, host to the "Eyes Wide Open-War on Two Fronts" exhibition.

Daniel Casara is a veteran U.S.Army Sargent.

Tyler Zabel is a soldier currently in the Army National Guard who recently applied for conscientious objector status.

Dr. Cranston Knight is a Professor of History at Malcolm X College.
