Jan. 21, 2011

"Eight Forty-Eight" pays tribute to the 50th anniversary of President Kennedy’s inauguration with a story that weaves recently-released digital archives from the Presidential Library with reflections from historians, biographers, civil rights activists and President Kennedy’s FCC Chairman, Newton Minow. And host Alison Cuddy speaks with two of the people behind a forthcoming documentary that takes a 15-year look at how residents from the Cabrini Green housing projects are faring under the Chicago Housing Authority’s Plan for Transformation.
