The girl pop of 1960's France was known as ye-ye and one of its stars was Tunisian born Jacqueline Taieb. She began writing songs at the tender age of 12, then when she was 18 had her first hit called Sept Heures Du Matin.

That garage rock sounding song has become a cult classic among ye ye fans and its part of a Taieb compilation called Lolita Chick '68.

Cuts from the release tonight on Radio M as well as Can, Brazil's Otto and Chicago's Occidental Brothers Dance Band International.
