Prince Jimmy Tokoh is a Nigerian musician with a hometown band called the Chicago Highlife Funkies. Tokoh was born in San Francisco but moved to Nigeria when he was three. He began singing at an early age in church and soon mastered the conga. At 14 Jimmy joined the renowned Nigerian Sound Makers highlife band. Prince Jimmy Tokoh stops by to talk about his music. Also, getting in the mood for Carnival with the music of Brazil. And we'll also give a musical nod to the New Orleans music of Mardi Gras.
