Mar. 03, 2011

President Obama and Mexican President Felipe Calderón will meet today to discuss the drug war, human rights and border security. We’ll get analysis from Laura Carlsen. She's the director of the Americas Program of the Center for International Policy in Mexico City. On Global Activism, we’ll focus on Sudan. Last month South Sudan voted to secede and become an independent country, but issues related to border demarcation and oil remain unsettled. We’ll catch up with South Sudan Voices of Hope and hear about their plans to help build the new country.
