Presenter

Join us for this conversation with art historian Olivier Bernier on a Paris that may be bygone but never forgotten.

Olivier Bernier, widely acclaimed for his lectures at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, was born in the United States of French parents and was educated in Paris and at Harvard. He is the author of several critically acclaimed histories, including Words of Fire, Deeds of Blood: The Mob, the Monarchy, and the French Revolution and Louis XIV: A Royal Life. He will come to remind us of Paris in which heads rolled off the guillotine.
