The Cervantes Symposium is one of the most significant gatherings of internationally-recognized scholars on the life and works of Miguel de Cervantes. These scholars have met once a year since 2001 to share and discuss emerging research in the field. The symposium is organized by Julia Domínguez from Iowa State University and sponsored by the Instituto Cervantes, DePaul University, Iowa State University, and the Newberry Library Center for Renaissance Studies. James A. Parr from the University of California, Riverside, provides the keynote address.
All sessions are free and open to the public, but registration in advance is required. For more details, visit http://www.cervantessymposium.com/default.html.
