This event will be recorded for WBEZ’s Chicago Amplified.

Contemporary American history has now been defined as pre- and post-September 11th. Join us for a special discussion on the 10th anniversary of the tragedy as we examine that day and its impact, lessons learned and lessons lost, and how we as individuals and Chicagoans have changed. Journalist Laura Washington moderates the discussion with Rami Nashashibi, Executive Director of Inner City Muslim Action Network (IMAN), and Steve Bynum, producer of WBEZ’s Worldview among the panelists.

In the K/Now is a free monthly series that focuses on contemporary hot topics that affect local Chicagoans. These forums are presented in a town-hall format with several panelists and audience participation.
