Ahabwe Mugerwa Michael, Executive Director of ICOD Action Network, will discuss how access to healthy food impacts the lives of poor rural farming communities in Uganda. He will present his organization’s approach to building a self-sustaining and food-secure local community through access to relevant agricultural information and training. He'll also discuss how rural African communities can be a leading source of the world’s supply of healthy food. Ahabwe is the director of ICOD, an organization that envisions an empowered Ugandan society free from disease and suffering and observant of human rights.
