Native south sider Duke Tumatoe grew up with the blues and began playing around the city in the 1960s, offering his fans “A good time, a little mischief, a lot of great music.” Once a member of REO Speedwagon, Tumataoe’s distinctive, Chicago-based, rocking-blues-roots style set the tone for All Star Frogs in the 1970s and 1980s, and with The Power Trio since 1983.
