Jamal Joseph discusses his new book, Panther Baby: A Life of Rebellion & Reinvention, in which he recounts his introduction to the Black Panther Party, his progression from a naïve street kid to an outspoken member, and later about his years in prison. The author went on to receive an Oscar nomination and is now a professor at Columbia University’s School of the Arts Film Program.
