Starting Saturday January 5, WBEZ 91.5 will make a schedule adjustment. We are excited to announce The Moth Radio Hour will begin airing weekly on WBEZ.
In our search for programming that fulfills the mission of Chicago Public Media we believe that the personal stories of The Moth Radio Hour deliver a diverse expression of viewpoints and experience that, when shared; create connections between storyteller and audience that are unmatched in other formats.
For those not familiar with The Moth Radio Hour, The Moth is storytelling at its stripped down best. Each show is built around an individual theme in which storytellers explore and interpret though the lens of their human experience. The Moth describes itself as “a dance between documentary and theater, creating a unique, intimate, and often enlightening experience for the audience.”
The Moth Radio Hour is produced by Jay Allison, The Moth, Atlantic Public Media, and presented by PRX.
The Moth Radio Hour will air on Saturdays at 2 p .m. following Re:Sound.
More information about The Moth Radio Hour and The Moth storytelling events, in Chicago and across the country, can be found at themoth.org.
