One of Chicago’s early summer music festivals bends the ear, mind and eye. Neon Marshmallow is an annual three day experimental music event. It begins on Friday, June 10, and runs through Sunday, June 12, at the Empty Bottle in Chicago.

The award-winning Rivendell Theatre Ensemble has announced plans for its first-ever permanent location after 17 years as an itinerant company. The troupe will move into a double storefront at 5779 N. Ridge Avenue (at Glenwood) in the Edgewater neighborhood.
We haven't had a good Wikipedia Files sit-down since the turn of the year when we grabbed THE Stacey King at the United Center. So when news came that Frank Thomas was coming in studio, we jumped. Thomas did a quick two day press tour for a book he wrote the foreword on.

The 2011 Just for Laughs Chicago comedy fest has some big talent, from Seth Meyers to Whitney Cummings. The event takes place at venues across the city, and features acts from all corners of the comedy world.
