WBEZ talked to some international journalists who say they'll be doing plenty of sightseeing while in town, but with all the diplomacy going on, they don't have time to do much reporting on the city.

Some tourists visiting Chicago this weekend say the NATO summit didn't deter them from their planned vacations. WBEZ went out to Michigan Ave Saturday to talk to tourists about how the summit was affecting their trip.

The largest protests are expected Sunday, when thousands of people are expected to march from a band shell on Lake Michigan to the McCormick Place convention center, where NATO delegates will meet to discuss missile defense, Afghan security, and the future of the military alliance.

Downtown may be bracing for the NATO summit, but in Chicago's neighborhoods, life goes on.
