Chicago Public Radio now offers podcasting—the ability to download your favorite public radio programs and listen whenever and wherever you want.

The number of public radio podcasts is growing each day. We're planning to offer a wide range of Chicago Public Radio programs and features in the near future. But we’re so excited about this new way of listening to radio that we wanted to give you the chance to start downloading today.

How Do I Get Started?

All you need is a computer, Internet connection (the faster the better), and podcasting software. Chicago Public Radio is offering our own free podcasting program, Pubcatcher.

Why Use Pubcatcher?

It comes pre-loaded with links to public radio programs from a variety of sources—including NPR®, the BBC, PRI, and more. Pubcatcher allows you to subscribe to your favorite public radio programs and keeps track of your subscriptions to make sure you always have the most recent audio.
