Chicago is one of the most haunted cities in the world, boasting a colorful past filled with eerie events that range from the truly chilling to the light-of-heart. In celebration of Halloween, the Museum will host cemetery tours, dinners, seminars, and other events that will showcase Chicago's very real and often shocking past! Chicago’s early dead were trafficked into and out of its first municipal graveyard, the Chicago City Cemetery. Pamela Bannos of the Hidden Truths Project shares stories of grave robbers, improper burials, and the confusion that led to Lincoln Park.
