Quigley Gun Buyback
President Obama is scheduled to announce proposals for gun control on Wednesday. On the local level, Mayor Emanuel said Monday that he wants the city to take a closer look at pension funds and cut any investments in gun related companies. Now, Congressman Mike Quigley of the 5th District is adding his voice to the conversation; he introduced Buyback our Safety Act Tuesday. Congressman Quigley explains what the bill entails, and where he thinks gun control measures will go next.
Walmart
Three Walmart Neighborhood Markets are scheduled to open Wednesday, making that eight Walmart markets in Chicago. The stores have faced opposition in some areas, with community members claiming the chain will divert business from local food stores.

Poverty Study
Heartland Alliance for Human Needs and Human Rights releases their annual report Wednesday on poverty in Illinois. A key data point they discovered is that
