The acclaimed Cuban theater company Teatro Buendía returns to Goodman Theatre in March with a riveting stage adaptation of Juan Rulfo’s beloved magical realism novella Pedro Páramo.
Maria Zamudio will lead a discussion with Goodman Theatre Resident Artistic Associate Henry Godinez, Playwright Raquel Carrió, Director Flora Lautén, and the cast of Pedro Páramo on the development of the play. The conversation will be recorded for broadcast by Vocalo 90.7FM, a service of Chicago Public Media (WBEZ). This FREE event is open to the public and will be presented in Spanish.
