President Obama visits Argonne National Laboratories to assess energy
Argonne resident Obama’s in town today - and he’s planning a visit to Argonne National Laboratories in Lemont to talk about energy. His so-called “all of the above” energy policy includes nuclear energy, and in theory, this is a good place to talk that up: Illinois is the biggest producer of nuclear power in the country. Brian Blade & The Fellowship Band bring a new beat
The list of musicians drummer Brian Blade has played alongside some is nearly as remarkable as his body of work. From jazz legends Chick Corea and Wayne Shorter to equally iconic folk singers Emmylou Harris and Joni Mitchell, Blade has made an impressive mark on the musical landscape. The Louisiana native hits Chicago Friday, and begins his stop in the Windy City with a live set on The Morning Shift with his group, Brian Blade and the Fellowship Band.
