This charming Charlie
'Peanuts' meets the Smiths
The idea is incredibly simple, but it’s so brilliant, it makes you wonder why nobody ever thought of it before.
Lauren LoPrete, a Bay Area graphic designer, music fan, and indie-label entrepreneur (she runs Loglady with her boyfriend), describes it thusly:
“All images adapted from Charles Schulz’s Peanuts comic series. All words adapted from Smiths lyrics written by Morrissey.”
I for one am hooked. And now I can’t stop thinking about what other strips could be paired with the utterances of which musicians. The mind reels.
