Join award-winning host and correspondent Richard Steele for the inaugural WBEZ Holiday Party at House of Blues. In addition to performances from Chicago Blues legends Billy Branch and The Sons of the Blues and hip hop magician and illusionist Walter King Jr. (aka The Spellbinder), House of Blues will provide a festive buffet-style dinner and cocktails. Vocalo's very own Ayana Contreras will DJ through out the night. Doors open at 7pm for cocktails and dinner, and entertainment begins at 8pm. Tickets are $110 ($85 for WBEZ members).

Billy Branch and The Sons of the Blues Band
Blues harmonica legend Billy Branch, an ambassador of Chicago Blues, and the Sons of Blues are one of the hottest blues bands working today, defining the sound of the blues for present and future generations. Billy Branch, a virtuosic harmonica player, is a two-time Grammy nominee who has played on more than 100 recordings with Willie Dixon, Koko Taylor, Lou Rawls and others. Educator as well as musician, Branch is a true Blues Ambassador, dedicating himself through teaching people around the world about the Blues and its influence on the formation of American music.
Walter King Jr., The Spellbinder
Walter King, Jr. is one of America's premier illusionists and magicians. The Spellbinder is a native Chicagoan who has performed at The Mirage and The Stratosphere in Las Vegas, with such stars as Bill Cosby, Gladys Knight, Jennifer Hudson and the Temptations. Pulling from vast experience and training in theater, film and special effects, his exceptional talent and imagination inspire his theatrical performances of magic and illusion choreographed to funk, R&B and Hip Hop.
