Celebrating the work of Jonas Mekas

Tomorrow, at the 2010 Chicago Underground Film Festival, Chuck Workman unveils his documentary Visionaries: Jonas Mekas and the (mostly) American Avant-Garde Cinema, a study of the key players of the '60s underground cinema scene and the work and life of Mekas. Mekas will receive a lifetime achievement award from the Chicago Underground Film Festival this weekend.
