Chicago punk band The Frantic are barely of drinking age, yet they've had years of punk rock partying and debauchery behind their backs! Their debut Audio & Murder was released when they were still in their teens. It was an immediate commercial success that launched the band as a national touring act, landing them appearances on MTV and major radio stations all over the country.
After 3 years of riding on this success, The Frantic return with a follow up self-titled EP. Vocalist and lead guitarist Kyle Dee joins Jesse Menendez on Vocalo's MusicVox to talk about new songs and what happened in those 3 years between the records. Kyle recalls how as a child he used to fantasize about being played on Chicago's Q101 and how his dreams came true. He tells a story about how The Frantic got discovered while playing a show at Beat Kitchen when they were 13 years old and got flown out to LA to produce their record.
