Some are predicting Saturday, May 21, as the date for The Rapture. That's not the name of a hot new local metal band. It’s the doomsday scenario predicted by Harold Camping. Camping is one of the founders of Family Radio, and he says the scripture backs up his prediction.
Calling the date of the end times could be considered blasphemous or spot on. To find out which category this prediction fell into, Eight Forty-Eight turned to biblical scholar Dr. Charlie Dyer. Dyer’s a professor at large at Moody Bible Institute, and also hosts the radio show The Land and the Book.
