I love this song.
It's called "Northern Star," and singer-songwriter Rebecca Rego performed it a few months ago — right after Lisa Madigan (hence Rebecca's opening line) — on The Interview Show.
Her band, REGO, released an EP, All These Bones, earlier this year and is set to release a full-length album this winter. It's a ways off, but she'll be supporting folk duo Nervous But Excited on Oct. 13 at Panchos.
