Listen to Will Phalen perform on Eight Forty-Eight
Phalen performed tunes off of his newest solo album Holy Ghost/Gold Coast throughout Eight Forty-Eight, though this time, he was joined by Chris Anderson on bass and guitar, and Shawn Rios on drums and bass. Host Tony Sarabia noted that Phalen had a sound similar to Nick Drake, a comparison the singer says he's alright with -- he's a big fan of Drake's.
Phalen will be at Schuba's tonight at 8 pm, but before you head there, watch him perform below. In this song, he's on guitar, but throughout the show you heard him on banjo and harmonica as well.
