Shyam Benegal is a renowned Indian filmmaker. His string of films in the 1970s helped establish a new vein of cinema in India. In addition to his award-winning dramas, Benegal has made dozens of documentaries, including one about Indian film great Satyajit Ray. Benegal is in town to take part in a symposium about Ray’s films and he joins Worldview to discuss his career.
