Protesters outside an immigrant detention center in west suburban Broadview on Tuesday blocked the front wheels of a bus they said was carrying people to O’Hare International Airport for deportation. The federal government has removed about 2 million immigrants since President Barack Obama took office in 2009. The protesters want Obama to halt deportations of people who pose no threat.
