It's the usual unusual on Radio M. R.I.P. Jamesetta Hawkins aka Etta James. A nod to a woman whose voice could cut through anything. She died Friday morning at the age of 73.

Well here we are- close to Christmas and in the midst of Hanukkah. So this week on Radio M some music for the occasions.Also,  we remember the artist who was known as the Barefoot Diva. Cesaria Evora began singing in the bars of  the Cape Verdean town of Mindelo when she was 16 years old.
