This week on Radio M; the Featured Album. This time out it's the latest from multi-instrumentalist Shawn Lee and his Ping Pong Orchestra. Although he lists 'orchestra', Lee is typically a one man band who releases mostly instrumental music.

Members of Chicago's The Eternals stop by Radio M with a stack of their favorite records. Damon Locks and Wayne Montana create dark, throbbing, head bobbing music with a dash of ska and post jazz rhythms. It's music that you can feel move down your spine.

We're having a party this week on Radio M to celebrate the musical legacy of Sir Coxsone Dodd-the Berry Gordy of Jamaica.

Radio M is pulling the plug for this show: all acoustic music from around the globe. You'll hear acoustic guitars, ouds, violins, horns, koras and the oldest acoustic instrument- the voice.

Take three musicians Rwandan genocide survivors, let them play guitar and sing soulful songs that almost sound like they come out of a Nashville bar, and roll tape. The outcome is a stripped down album called Kigali Y' Izahabu from the band called The Good Ones.
