Desperate to defuse Thailand's deepening political crisis, Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra said Monday she is dissolving the lower house of Parliament and called for early elections.

Thailand's prime minister has pleaded for protesters to clear the streets and wait for a general election, which is now scheduled to take place in February. We'll get an update on the political turmoil inside Thailand.
