The home of an Illinois state representative from Elgin is being used as the set for a horror movie.
The Courier-News in Elgin reports that Democratic state Rep. Keith Farnham rented his family's Victorian-style home to an independent film crew. The crew is making a horror movie anthology. Farnham's family has lived in the house for 25 years.
Farnham says he was paid "a couple hundred bucks" for the use of his home. The home has been on the market for three years.
