Drew Edwards was planning on majoring in education at the University of Toledo, but decided to defer college for a year in favor of a service mission to Uganda. His experiences there inspired him to change paths, heading toward a new university and a different kind of life as a co-founder of Pangea Educational Development (PED). Now a graduate of DePaul, Drew is the Director of International Relations PED and splits his time between advocacy and fundraising in Chicago and building schools in Uganda. He stops by to talk with Worldview.
