Community Cloud Forest Conservation (CCFC) works to alleviate poverty and protect Guatemala’s tropical cloud forests. They support projects that include reforestation, agricultural biodiversity, education and bird monitoring. CCFC also teamed up with local bird conservationists like Audobon Chicago Region, to protect the winter homes of birds that migrate between Guatemala and Chicago. For our Global Activism segment, Founder and director Rob Cahill gives us an update on what he calls “the great progress” his group has made in the last few months.
