andyshawThe Better Government Association announced Tuesday that former ABC-7 political reporter Andy Shaw would become the group's new executive director. That role had been vacant since January when Jay Stewart left to go work for Illinois Governor Pat Quinn. Shaw retired from his TV gig after covering the 2008 election. This afternoon I asked Shaw what it was about retirement he didn't like. We also chatted about his goals, his salary in the new job and whether he plans to still drop by the political press conferences he used to frequent.
