2 dead, 4 hurt in South Side restaurant shooting

Two people are dead and four others in critical condition after a shooting inside a fast-food restaurant on Chicago's South Side.

Police say two people got into a fight before 7 p.m. Tuesday outside a Church's Chicken restaurant in the Englewood neighborhood. One person armed with a handgun chased the other into the restaurant and opened fire.

Two people were later pronounced dead at the scene.

The other victims were being taken to area hospitals. They include a 58-year-old man, a 51-year-old man and two teenagers ages 16 and 17. The suspect is not in custody. Chicago police say the shooting remains under investigation.
