Chicago Bears' team vice president Tim McCaskey has died after a long battle with cancer.

Tim McCaskey became the Bears' vice president in 1993. He was the second oldest of team owner Virginia McCaskey's children and was the grandson of NFL and Chicago Bears founding father George Halas.

McCaskey had battled cancer for the past 17 months.
