Panelists for "Chicago in These Times: What's Next for the Chicago Public Schools?"

There's a new mayor and new CEO for CPS: what's at stake for our children? Listen in as we share concerns and explore ideas and possible solutions for the short-term and long-term prospects facing our public schools. Speakers include: Dominic Belmonte, president and CEO of Golden Apple; Miguel del Valle, Chicago City Clerk; Josh Anderson, executive director of Teach for America in Chicago; Karen Lewis, president of the Chicago Teachers Union; Pauline Lipman, author and professor of educational policy at the University of Illinois; Reverend Calvin Morris, executive director of the Community Renewal Society in Chicago; and Ted Purinton, chair and assistant professor in the Department of Educational Leadership at National Louis University. WBEZ education reporter Linda Lutton moderates the discussion.
