Seven months after resigning from her post as a White House columnist for Hearst because of controversy over her comment that Israeli Jews should return "home" to Poland and Germany, 90-year-old Helen Thomas is writing again.

The Falls Church News-Press in northern Virginia has brought Thomas on to write a weekly political affairs column. Her first piece for the newspaper is headlined "Privatizing Social Security Again?" She's against any such idea. Copyright 2011 National Public Radio. To see more, visit http://www.npr.org/.
