It's the last day to participate in early voting in Cook County before Tuesday's presidential primary.
Cook County Clerk David Orr says that Thursday is also the deadline for his office to receive mail ballot applications.
Nearly 12,700 suburban Cook County voters have requested mail ballots. Not all voters will return a voted ballot, but mail voting is on track to surpass the 8,835 mail ballots cast in the 2008 presidential primary.
Early voting sites are open until 5 p.m. Thursday.
Locations can be found at the county clerk's website.
